With the ongoing price increase, we are currently seeing a sharp increase in new wallets and therefore new people in the Cardano network. First of all, I want to welcome everyone who is new to Cardano! You have made a very good decision to join the best community in crypto.
However, since many people may be inexperienced in the area of financial self-responsibility, I would like to outline some basic security rules to keep your funds secure:
- If it is too good to be true, it probably is!
- There are NEVER any giveaways! Even if it looks 100% real! Scammers are actively hacking big Youtube Channels, other Accounts and copying designs. Do not fall for it.
- No officials, moderators or ambassadors will ever send you a private message! Scammers are copying those profiles and target people seeking help.
- Always download Software related to Cardano from trusted sources! Double and triple check URLs to make sure you are on the correct website.
- Never ever give your seed phrase to anyone. Your funds will be lost forever!
